Why is this not taught to every female in every high school in the country? Such valuable information for women! I wish I would have learned this stuff much earlier in life!! I loved the way the information was presented in this course. There are short modules on critical topics that you can watch in small spurts as you have time, and you can start implementing simple changes ASAP, or blaze through it and do a major overhaul. The tips provided are so manageable. I highly recommend this course whether you have painful periods, are struggling with fertility, or are just a menstruating person that wants to live their best and healthiest life.
As I work my way through the course, I'm wondering how I never knew these basic fundamentals about how to actually nourish my body. From proper hydration to pairing proteins with carbs, I'm learning so much about how to adjust my daily habits to support bodily systems. This is a power-packed class with actionable take-aways. While it's a work-at-your-own-pace setup, Johanna takes time to check in, provide resources, analyze and offer helpful feedback on your habits, and support you along the way. You can tell a lot of heart was put into this high-value, interactive course. Soon after applying what I learned, I experienced huge improvements. My skin and mental health (I've dealt with acne and anxiety for years) both improved very noticeably, and my cycles are getting back on track. These were massive wins for me, especially as someone working to overcome PCOS!
Prior to working with Johanna I had terrible PMDD and painful periods both of which now have become either unnoticeable or more manageable. I have immense gratitude for the care Johanna gave me. Not only is she clearly passionate and knowledgeable about her work, but she is realistic and non-judgemental in her approach. Her utilization of HTMA, blood tests, and questionnaires to assess symptoms was the first time I felt like a practitioner truly cared to get to know me - literally inside and out. Johanna set me up for success with small, incremental changes in diet and hydration which yielded amazing results. I no longer struggle with intense PMS symptoms, I’m way less anxious, and have reduced my use of pain meds during my period. As I continue to practice the plan she worked on with me, I expect my symptoms to get even better.
I am thankfully on my journey to overall healing with her [Johanna's] knowledge and care. I would recommend anyone to use her whether it’s infertility, PCOS, hormonal health, or just overall health. If she doesn't know the answer, she will do everything she can for you to figure it out while giving a completely different approach than most people see these days. She genuinely does care for your overall health and wellbeing, and after one consultation, you will see the value in her... My biggest recommendation I have for others is to USE HER! She’s such a wealth of knowledge, and her approach and care makes her feel like a friend, which makes the process way more enjoyable.
I'm absolutely amazed at what her [Johanna's] insight and skill have made in my life, health and overall well-being. The practices she's had me implement have been relatively easy and have made a world of difference...and not one of them was ever suggested by any other practitioner! I no longer need a nap, caffeine or sugar at 3:00pm everyday to feel alive. I've recently noticed I don't crave sugar anymore which I've struggled with for years. I can’t recommend Johanna enough. She is patient, kind, fun, caring, determined, and just overall such a gem to work with. Johanna helped me make small changes that didn’t feel overwhelming and within 4 weeks my hormones were already improving and my digestive issues were going away. Before meeting Katrina, I was experiencing a lot of fatigue, bloating, and overall low energy. Now I've felt my body recovering and reaching a solid baseline again. My bloat went down and I experienced less dips in energy throughout the day. After working with Johanna I felt prepared to go into my next pregnancy knowing how to nourish my body, and prepared better for postpartum. I literally could not believe how little protein I was eating compared to how much Johanna recommended, and how that immediately helped. Previously, my cycle was very short and I had horrible fatigue, but almost immediately after implementing her advice my energy and cycle improved. I appreciated that she customized the care I needed based on my background knowledge. She gave me concrete advice that was easy to follow, every time we communicated I felt like I understood the plan and was able to implement change right away.
Before working one on one with Katrina, I was having stomach aches, fatigue, headaches, low appetite, and intense menstrual cycle symptoms. After working with Katrina I feel my energy levels are much more consistent and my headaches and stomach aches are less frequent. Overall I feel much more balanced and energized in my daily life! Before I started meeting with Katrina I was in a pretty stressful season and having a lot of anxiety. Making some adjustments has made a world of difference for my energy levels and anxiety.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Madi as my Nutritional Therapy Practitioner! I enjoyed the education behind what we put in our bodies and how it can affect us. Prior to working with Johanna I had completely lost a period and was so frustrated. I now have so many answers to questions and have the tools to get a regular cycle. A big ah ha moment for me was increasing the amount that I eat and changing my style of exercise. Also adding more salt to my diet when the world tells you to have less! Prior to working with Katrina I had heartburn, GI upset related to certain foods, tiredness, moderate mood fluctuations, mental health conditions, and severe menstrual symptoms. The transformation through nutrition and proper habits has been life changing for me. I no longer have GI symptoms, my mood has improved drastically, I have more energy, and for the first time since high school I am no longer needing to take birth control for the severe pain and heavy flow. I was able to discontinue the use of pharmaceuticals that often caused me side effects such as antacids, mood medications, and birth control.
